Aida SchneiderArtist: Aida Schneider
My method is direct in approach (no sketching), and in application (color directly onto painting surface without brush or palette). By gestural strokes and marks, I wish to impart the freedom and sense of well-being that occur when I paint.

While the allusions and commentary in my work relate to present day culture and its rapid changes, the symbols I usually employ hearken to my background growing up in an ancient land.

Aletha JonesArtist: Aletha Jones
I grew up on a small Indiana farm where my first models were the often-uncooperative dairy cows. In many ways, I feel that I did not so much choose art as a career, but rather found it an unavoidable companion. It has always been such an integral part of my life that its continuation has been as natural as growing up itself. From the time I was a child, my art has reflected my day to day experiences, a visual diary of sorts.

Mike composes original acrylic paintings focusing primarily on seascapes. Although he is not a portrait artist per se, he likes to include people engaged in water activities - swimming, rowing, sailing, fishing, or playing along the waters edge. Bill TurnerArtist: Bill Turner
"Why roads?" I'm often asked. When I first began showing these paintings, my first response was a little feeling of shock - "Roads? All my paintings have roads?" It's not a scheme or plan - that is, to paint paintings with roads. It's just that roads are a marvelous vehicle for taking one's imagination into a painting, especially one that evokes the sort of emotional qualities that I like for these paintings to have.

Bonnie CarterArtist: Bonnie Carter
I am an experimental artist working with thin acrylic glazes on paper. My methods include a lot of pouring, dripping, and drizzling of paint. Along with acrylic paint, I sometimes add acrylic ink, watercolor crayons, pastels, charcoal powder, or watercolor.

I love the tactile qualities of paint and color, and I like to incorporate texture using all kinds of tools - even some from the hardware store. Nature holds a great deal of attraction for me and I generally paint with one eye on nature.

Bruce WilsonArtist: Bruce Wilson
In April of 2005, thirty years after co-founding the advertising agency Cardinal Wilson & Wilson, Bruce turned his attentions to painting with hopes of becoming an emerging artist. He has been mixing his own pigments with oil pastels and oils into creamy consistencies and applying them to ultra smooth surfaces. His paintings are starting to take on an abstract/surrealist feel.

C. L. CunninghamArtist: C. L. Cunningham
As I share this website with collectors both known and unknown to me, I am struck by the speed with which things change around us. The very nature of existence seems to be tethered to the mercurial evolution of technology. One constant, is the need for beauty, for that which illuminates the human condition, inspiring hope and joy. The more our world relies upon automation and artificiality, the more we admire evidence of the human hand. We seek out the objects that reflect the touch of the creator, the unique vision and refined craftmanship of the individual artisan.

The website is not only about sales, convenience and communication. It is also intended to provide the collector a "chair" beside my drawing table in which to observe the monthly progress of mixed medias as I work them toward completion.
