Artist: Air and Earth Designs I've always loved beads and color - I first got into beading when I worked for a fabric store during my college years. Color is a major inspiration of mine - I adore the way color plays with light. I bought lampwork for my own jewelry creations for awhile, and just fell in love with the medium.
My beads are made from Effetre (Moretti), Vetrofond (Murano), Bullseye, Czech, and/or Lauscha glass, then annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for lasting durability.

 | Artist: Amenda Tate I am a jewelry designer and metalsmith. I individually handcraft each piece in my Colorado studio. My works are contemplations, entertaining the idea that objects can be both organic in form and relation as well as mechanical in a functional format: adornment.
I have been designing and creating cutting-edge jewelry since 1996. I enjoy the process of hand forging and fabrication and combine these processes with innovative practices.

 | Artist: Ampersand Cards Ampersand Cards is a dreamer's dream come true. One of my earliest cards reads, "I decided that the world of work was not conducive to joy, and so I became a dreamer of dreams that come true. I'm much happier now."
My dream was (and still is) to have my work be more congruent with my creative spirit, to live the life I imagined for myself when I was 17, by letting my creative self breathe deeply and dance. My hope is that my cards will encourage others to dream and do and to expect their dreams to come true, too.

 | Artist: Amy Bengtson I have always had a love of small, delicate objects and clean design. Growing up with a Swedish heritage refined my sense of style, and having a degree in architecture brought structure and a sense of balance to my pieces. My approach to jewelry-making closely parallels my philosophy of life, which is to find clarity in all kinds of situations with just a touch of humor.

 | Artist: Bear Creek Paperworks Leandra Spangler's passion for papermaking began in 1986 when she first plunged her hands into a vat of pulp. In the subsequent years, Leandra has explored numerous ways of making and using paper (handmade and found) as a medium in her creative artistic expressions.
Leandra Spangler's contemporary vessels are reed forms covered with highly textured handmade paper. She weaves the form as an armature for the application of highly textured handmade paper. A graphite emulsion which is polished by hand creates a luminous protective surface. Recently, Spangler has been adding color to the vessel surfaces. Her vessels are shown across the country at invitational and juried exhibitions.
