Artist: Air and Earth Designs
I've always loved beads and color - I first got into beading when I worked for a fabric store during my college years. Color is a major inspiration of mine - I adore the way color plays with light. I bought lampwork for my own jewelry creations for awhile, and just fell in love with the medium.
My beads are made from Effetre (Moretti), Vetrofond (Murano), Bullseye, Czech, and/or Lauscha glass, then annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for lasting durability.

I have always loved jewelry in nearly every form and began making my own designs over 10 years ago. Back then, it was beads, knots and wire only. After an unexpected lay-off in 2004, I printed up some business cards and hit the shops to see if I could turn my hobby into a budding business.
I am drawn to many different mediums and am always employing new methods in my jewelry designs. I believe jewelry should be an enhancer to personal style, that extra spark that allows us to stand out.

I have been designing and creating cutting-edge jewelry since 1996. I enjoy the process of hand forging and fabrication and combine these processes with innovative practices.

Growing up with a Swedish heritage refined my sense of style, and having a degree in architecture brought structure and a sense of balance to my pieces. My approach to jewelry-making closely parallels my philosophy of life, which is to find clarity in all kinds of situations with just a touch of humor.

Design, color, and texture have always been major components of my life in one form or another. I grew up in my parents' freelance home furnishings design studio. I majored in Fine Arts at UNH.
I've always had to create something. For a long time, that took the form of weaving - mostly one-of-a-kind wearables. Since 1993, I've been working with polymer clay, making mainly beads and jewelry. A few years back, smaller beads began to nudge at me and want to be part of the mix.

Marketing her work through juried art fairs and fine craft shows, Annette exhibits her work in more than 25 cities around the United States.

I've always loved the uniQue! I love pieces with gorgeously quirky twists that make a look my own! I simply adore creating and making unique clothing for others that will bring a smile to their faces!! I've been dabbling in things needle since as long as I can remember. I love all the art of needlecrafts, including applique, crochet, embroidery, patchwork, cross-stitch, quilting, rug making, and sewing.

Barbara describes her designs as clean, crisp and timeless, a benefit of working in wire and sheet metals. Her inspiration is drawn from nature's diverse textures and color pallets. Allowing her to combine uniquely, shaped hand cut gemstones and hand selected pearls with surface embellishments and hand forming to fashion distinctive yet versatile jewelry pieces.
Designs are executed in high karat gold or platinum/silver to seize the greatest impact for each individual piece. Each piece is fabricated one at a time, making it as unique as you are.
