Glass Lake StudioArtist: Glass Lake Studio
I use many images from nature in my work. Abstracted forms of water, clouds, trees, flowers, and fire are recurring themes. Water appears in much of my artwork. I believe this is because my subject-feelings tends to be fluid. Whether chaotic or calm, life too, is justly exemplified in uncertainty and inevitable change.

I use "Lattichino", the Italian tradition of twisting two or more colors of glass together and then applying the result over transparent glass, giving a candy cane look.

James Wilbat GlassArtist: James Wilbat Glass
Wilbat creates his colorful art works in a series of steps. He first produces a palette to choose from by blowing large thin plates of individual colors consisting of a layer of colored glass, a layer of white glass, and two surrounding layers of clear glass. These plates must be cooled overnight before they can become part of the actual piece he is making. He next prepares the details for his pieces, which may include hollow cane, thin lines of colored glass and his signature twisty shapes, formed by fusing and twisting two strands of hot colored glass.

Vermont Glass WorkshopArtist: Vermont Glass Workshop
For over twenty years, Wendy and Harry have been designing and producing contemporary studio glass and selling it nationally and internationally to fine craft galleries, museum shops, and directly to customers. All of the glass is designed and blown in Hardwick, Vermont, using traditional, contemporary and innovative glass blowing techniques.

In addition to a full line of functional glassware, Wendy & Harry are currently making work which combines landscape painting with blown glass forms. Each piece captures our Vermont landscape and encases it in glass.

West Rock Art GlassArtist: West Rock Art Glass
I am a glass artist and have been blowing glass for 30 years. I believe I am the only glass artist in the country, perhaps in the world, who has devoted his full artistic efforts into making this object. My bottles, although small in scale, make a grand statement.

I see perfume bottles as small, elegant treasures; made to be turned, touched, and relished. I strive to make the form organic, smooth, and familiar, with very few sharp angles. The lip is simple and unobtrusive. The interior decoration adds life, movement, and dimension to the piece.
