Aletha JonesArtist: Aletha Jones
I grew up on a small Indiana farm where my first models were the often-uncooperative dairy cows. In many ways, I feel that I did not so much choose art as a career, but rather found it an unavoidable companion. It has always been such an integral part of my life that its continuation has been as natural as growing up itself. From the time I was a child, my art has reflected my day to day experiences, a visual diary of sorts.

AllymoonArtist: Allymoon
JK Designs is inspired by a dream of a girl who was told she couldn't draw but believed that she could, she could and she would! So, fascinated by nature's beauty, in awe of great-grandma’s life stories, in love with most creatures great and small, and encouraged by a whimsical imagination, a book full of drawings got printed onto tees and lots lots more ...

It's about people, places, and memories... it's really all about a celebration of the nature's little gifts, and the simple inspirations that keep us going each day.

Art by BartArtist: Art by Bart
Bart, a self-taught and naturally gifted artist first discovered his talent while attempting to amuse his son by drawing cartoon characters.

Bart uses a variety of mixed media but prefers graphite, watercolor, and pastels. His specialty lies in graphite pencil drawings where optimal detail is articulated and brought to what appears to be a realistic and life-like image. Bart is a member of NAIA, the National Independent Artist Association and has participated in a number of juried cultural events where his art work has been on display.

Barbara BuckinghamArtist: Barbara Buckingham
I hand cut black paper from my own freehand drawings, using gold leaf, opals, pearls, and gold balls as doorknobs. I then do a 3-D mount, placing the cutting(s) on one or more layers.

My intent is to display my papercuttings as ironwork and create awareness in the general public to both fine metalwork, and the craft of papercutting. I get excited about the tiniest details, the rhythm of design, the small creative accents, and the 3 dimensional look of what I do.

Carol Boucher Fine ArtistArtist: Carol Boucher Fine Artist

Creator of award winning monotypes and pastel drawings. Custom picture framing studio. My background in painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor, goauche) has influenced the way I work in oil pastel. Layering multiple colors results in a more painterly look. In my skies, you will notice areas of blended color that resembles oil painting.

As I define it, pastel drawing is a method of mark making in which each line is distinct.

Dale JarrettArtist: Dale Jarrett
The subjects in the work are imagined, rather than actual places or renditions of photographs. The pencil drawings are original compositions created in various forms of carbon including carbon pencil, carbon stick (lead), and/or carbon crayon (conté). A tightly rolled piece of paper shaped like a sharpened cigar called a stump is used to subtly manipulate the carbon. Removing a mark is as important as making one, and for this purpose kneaded, vinyl and electric erasers are used.

The drawings are created on Arches hot-pressed watercolor paper. Known for it's impeccable consistency and quality Arches has been making paper in Arches, France for over 500 years. This specific paper has an internal and surface sizing which allows for repeated, aggressive marking and erasing. Each drawing is unique, one-of-a-kind, and capable of retaining it's original integrity for generations.

Artist: David Hunter
David majored in zoology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, coming away with both a B.A. (1969) and M.A. (1973) in that subject area and illustrating his master’s thesis with pen-and-ink drawings. From the fall of 1973 until the summer of 1978 David taught science at the middle school level. During his fourth year of teaching David needed a mental diversion and turned to art, working in pen and ink since that was the last artistic medium he had worked with.

At the end of that fifth year of teaching David applied for and recieved a year’s leave of absence from teaching, being a full-time teacher on the last day of the school year and a full-time artist on the next day. For the past 26 years David has supported himself and his family through his artwork, having learned the printmaking techniques of etching and monotypes.
