Aida SchneiderArtist: Aida Schneider
My method is direct in approach (no sketching), and in application (color directly onto painting surface without brush or palette). By gestural strokes and marks, I wish to impart the freedom and sense of well-being that occur when I paint.

While the allusions and commentary in my work relate to present day culture and its rapid changes, the symbols I usually employ hearken to my background growing up in an ancient land.

Aletha JonesArtist: Aletha Jones
I grew up on a small Indiana farm where my first models were the often-uncooperative dairy cows. In many ways, I feel that I did not so much choose art as a career, but rather found it an unavoidable companion. It has always been such an integral part of my life that its continuation has been as natural as growing up itself. From the time I was a child, my art has reflected my day to day experiences, a visual diary of sorts.

AllymoonArtist: Allymoon
JK Designs is inspired by a dream of a girl who was told she couldn't draw but believed that she could, she could and she would! So, fascinated by nature's beauty, in awe of great-grandma’s life stories, in love with most creatures great and small, and encouraged by a whimsical imagination, a book full of drawings got printed onto tees and lots lots more ...

It's about people, places, and memories... it's really all about a celebration of the nature's little gifts, and the simple inspirations that keep us going each day.

Art by BartArtist: Art by Bart
Bart, a self-taught and naturally gifted artist first discovered his talent while attempting to amuse his son by drawing cartoon characters.

Bart uses a variety of mixed media but prefers graphite, watercolor, and pastels. His specialty lies in graphite pencil drawings where optimal detail is articulated and brought to what appears to be a realistic and life-like image. Bart is a member of NAIA, the National Independent Artist Association and has participated in a number of juried cultural events where his art work has been on display.

Art by Dana BrownArtist: Art by Dana Brown
I’m a daily painter, popping the top on a Diet Mountain Dew by 9:00am every day. I love morning light and the clarity of a new day, so I usually paint till mid-day and if things are going well, continue until 5:00pm. With my two goofy dogs asleep under the drawing table and the music as loud as they’ll allow, this is a perfect day for me.

Fifteen years ago I made a commitment to grow as an artist. What I lacked in courage I hoped I could make up in determination. I learned quickly it is a self-directed mission toward a self-defined goal requiring desire, discipline, and hours of self-motivation.

Audrey Heller PhotographsArtist: Audrey Heller Photographs
Audrey Heller has been showing her distinctive and playful photos since 1996. Drawing from her training as a director and lighting designer for theater, and her love of overlooked details and visual puns, her body of work took shape. The little guys quickly found a big following.

There is something very familiar about the image of being tiny in a giant environment, and something inspiring, as well as humorous, about seeing such serious and industrious workers and explorers take on the daunting tasks that they face.

Barbara BuckinghamArtist: Barbara Buckingham
I hand cut black paper from my own freehand drawings, using gold leaf, opals, pearls, and gold balls as doorknobs. I then do a 3-D mount, placing the cutting(s) on one or more layers.

My intent is to display my papercuttings as ironwork and create awareness in the general public to both fine metalwork, and the craft of papercutting. I get excited about the tiniest details, the rhythm of design, the small creative accents, and the 3 dimensional look of what I do.
