Artist: Mary Gregg Byrne
I began painting watercolors in 1980 after taking a class with Steve Mayo, and that media has been my focus ever since. I love the beauty of watercolor. It is alive. Watercolors create with the artist, as well as the artist painting with them. The transparency of watercolor is a joy to me because I am interested in painting light. Watercolor allows this. I paint sunlight on a child’s hair and window light refracting through crystal.

I have always loved drawing people. The human face is a powerful image. I continue to paint portraits by commission and inclination. I have been interested in children's book illustration since I was nine. I created books as class projects in college.

Jude BennittoArtist: Jude Bennitto
Jude Bennitto's work can best be described as abstract expressionism and is mainly concentrated on using various mediums to bring life to her unique way of viewing the world. Mixed media and collage art being her specialty, it is still not uncommon to see her switch from one format to another simply because the "mood fits the purpose." Self-described as "free-spirited, wild, sensual, and jazzy", she attempts to add unusual colors to ordinary life scenes, and illicits a semi-abstract style that is unique and refreshing.

Born in 1967, and self-taught primarily by experimentation, she has exhibited publically in various locations, and also has several works currently existing in private collections in the United States and Europe. Her goal with each offering is to challege the viewer to imagine what "could be" instead of living life in the usual and expected chasm of mediocrity.

Bonnie CarterArtist: Bonnie Carter
I am an experimental artist working with thin acrylic glazes on paper. My methods include a lot of pouring, dripping, and drizzling of paint. Along with acrylic paint, I sometimes add acrylic ink, watercolor crayons, pastels, charcoal powder, or watercolor.

I love the tactile qualities of paint and color, and I like to incorporate texture using all kinds of tools - even some from the hardware store. Nature holds a great deal of attraction for me and I generally paint with one eye on nature.

Artist: John Caton
As a child I displayed a talent and desire for visual art. I began private lessons at the age of eight, and continued through high school. I attended Central Missouri State University to study illustration.

As an illustrator I work in all media, but I gravitate toward water mediums with its versatility in blending, glazing, and richness. To me art is a way of expressing the passion of life to the observer. I hope when you see my works you not only see the person but also feel their personality illuminating from the painting.
