Glenn DonovanArtist: Glenn Donovan
My sculptures evolve from my own thoughts, artistic inclinations, and sense of humor. I started welding art work in 1973 when I was 16. As I've become more experienced technically and philosophically, so has my work.

Using balance, springs, and dead machinery, I recycle both the metal and energy to create moving humor and insights. Motion is key to most of my larger work, using springs, balance, and spinning motions to bring sculptures to life. I use a MIG welder for my Recycled Sculptures and finish with a metal lacquer.

Jonas Gerard Fine ArtArtist: Jonas Gerard Fine Art
Bringing to life the tradition of abstract expressionism, Jonas Gerard emerged fifty years ago into the art scene with work which has currently evolved into a mesmerizing explosion of color, contrast and movement. And like the great contemporary Masters, such as Willem DeKooning, Jackson Pollock, Hans Hoffman and Franz Kline, Gerard has found his very own style of abstraction which is continuously growing and developing.

Years of passion and dedication to his work has brought him to the level he has achieved. His work has been exhibited and collected all over the United States and abroad, in private as well as in public collections. Jonas currently maintains a private waterfront studio in Miami Beach and recently opened a gallery in Asheville.

Terry HabegerArtist: Terry Habeger
A full-time artist for 16 years, my clay forms, designs, painting style, and palette have all evolved over that time. I like the control I have with paint, but am also stimulated by the unexpected things that happen when different colors are brushed on a surface and placed side by side. I am also attracted to the contrasting physical movements involved in painting and working with clay. Working back and forth between 2-D and 3-D media, I am stimulated and challenged by the change in how space is viewed.

Building ClayArtist: Building Clay
Diane currently lives and works in Maurice, Louisiana, where she creates clay sculpture in her garden-studio. The studio was built in 1999, but she has been building clay since 1992.

I work with clay in many ways using a variety of techniques and firing types. My pieces generally begin on the wheel as a whole or in parts. Though I have no particular favorite, I do find the immediacy of the raku process, and it's hauntingly moody surfaces greatly alluring.

Jewelry for the WallArtist: Jewelry for the Wall
All of my sculpture is made with wood which I choose for it's workability and durability. I cut, carve and build up stock--mostly basswood and birch laminated wood. Creating a highly textured surface with a rich interplay of color on classic forms is the basis of my work. The richness of the surface is as important to me as the form, so much of my time is spent adding texture. I do this in both reductive and additive ways--that is some of my textures are produced by carving the wood, and much of it is produced by the addition of other materials (rope, twine, reeds, torn canvas, rice paper, metal leaf) to the shaped surface.

Surface texture has been an ongoing process of experimentation for me for the past 17 years, when I switched from painting on canvas to wood. To purists my methods and technique are radical. However, the unconventional use of materials is key to my success.

I work in series, creating "families" of pieces, however each is a one-of-a-kind. All but my very smallest ones are individually titled and every piece is signed and dated on the back.

James Moore SculptureArtist: James Moore Sculpture
Some twenty-eight years ago as I sat under the shade of a large walnut tree, my attention was drawn to one of its fallen branches. It was small and old and it changed my life forever. It was with this small piece of walnut that I began my life as an artist. Since that time my work has taken two distinct directions.

One is heavily influenced by the rich tradition of classical sculpture with its focus on realism. The other direction my work has taken reflects my passion for abstract expressionism and minimalism.

Gregory Reade SculptureArtist: Gregory Reade Sculpture
Gregory Reade sculpts contemporary bronze figures that reveal the inner self as challenged by today’s modern life. Keenly wrought in both single and multiple compositions, these metaphorical impressions are realistically conveyed by his sharp eye, sly humor and deft hand.

A creative artist since 1982, Reade’s early work included stop-action photography, special effects makeup and animation models for short films. After a stint in movie production and effects, his travel to Paris, Florence and Rome inspired Reade to leave a lucrative computer career and devote all of his time to sculpting.

Extensively self-taught, the Scottsdale native started studying figurative sculpture close to home in San Diego, then furthered his education in numerous workshops at the Scottsdale Artists School, enhancing Reade’s skills to higher levels of excellence.

The thrill of expressing ideas, thoughts and emotions through the human figure is central to Reade’s imagery. He continues to create his sculpture at an accelerated pace, energized by the successful completion of each project and the growing recognition of a “G.Reade” work.

ARTiculateArtist: ARTiculate
Here you will find bowls, vases, candle holders, or pen holders that are works of art, hand carved from alabaster. Alabaster is a beautiful stone in which patterns shift and change constantly, allowing for variety in visual texture.

Each design is unique—there are no two alike no matter how similar the pattern. Each piece is meant to provide a difference in perspective as well as take the eye and imagination on a creative journey.
